About the Author

Tom McCann is the author of An American Company (Crown, 1976), a best-selling nonfiction book, and the novel Earth Angel, published in 2002. He wrote the critically acclaimed The Tree Nobody Wanted: A Christmas Story, published in 2007, and scores of short stories. He is a playwright and has written several screen and teleplays. McCann is a television producer who has produced primetime programs for both network and public television. He was born in Brooklyn and now lives in Boston.
